GENERAL MANAGER - SRI DAMANSARA SDN BHD

Chiah Hwa Kai leads the operations of Sri Damansara Sdn. Bhd., a key subsidiary of Land & General Berhad. With over 20 years of deep-rooted experience in civil engineering and property development, he has been a driving force within the Group since joining in 2011. His career at L&G is defined by a steady ascent through leadership roles, underpinned by a commitment to delivering value-driven residential and commercial spaces.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds (UK) and is a recognized graduate member of both the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).

Chin Foo Teck

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

The Senior Project Manager of Land and General Berhad, Chin Foo Teck has a Masters in Business Administration from Leicester University (UK) & Diploma in Building from Tunku Abdul Rahman College KL. In his 30 years in the Construction Industry, he has spent 26 years in Contractor Organisation, gaining experience in pre and post contract administration as well as project administration and has spent the other 4 years in the development line, emphasising in high rise construction projects. He believes that:

“Quality and timeliness of construction and satisfaction of purchasers being first priority and deliver the project in time, and added value to the project in term of quality and functionality of the products. When there is a will nothing is impossible. Learning new things and ideas is a continuing process and to impact the ideas into reality”.

Dr Steven Baptist

ACADEMIC ADVISOR TO SRI BESTARI SCHOOLS & PRINCIPAL OF SRI BESTARI PRIVATE SCHOOL KUALA LUMPUR

Dr Steven Baptist has served as Principal of Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur for the past 13 years and currently holds the role of Academic Advisor to Lang Education Sdn Bhd. In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight and academic direction for both Sri Bestari International School and Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur.

Dr Baptist was appointed Consortium for AI Education Director by the International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre for South-South Cooperation (ISTIC) and the Academy  for Education and Technology Development in Emerging Worlds (AETDEW). In this role, he collaborates closely with leading AI professors from the China Society for Education Strategy and Development (CSESD) in Beijing to advance AI education initiatives across the Global South.

An academician at heart, Dr Baptist brings nearly 30 years of experience spanning both higher education and school education. He is exceptionally well qualified for his leadership roles, holding two bachelor’s degrees, two master’s degrees, a doctorate, and multiple professional certifications.

Mr Lai Kok Wai (Sean)

PRINCIPAL OF SRI BESTARI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL KUALA LUMPUR

Mr Sean Lai is an experienced education leader with over 15 years of combined teaching and leadership experience across international, vernacular, and national school settings. His professional background spans whole-school leadership, academic governance, and operational management, enabling him to apply global best practices while remaining culturally and academically responsive to diverse learners.

Throughout his career, Mr Lai had led key initiatives including successful external curriculum inspections and the expansion of academic provision to include Early Years and Primary programmes in his previous role.

A strong advocate of holistic education, Mr Lai believes learning is most effective when experienced through meaningful engagement and collaboration.
