Mr. Edmond Heng

Mr. Edmond Heng holds a Master of Science in Construction Management and Economics from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. With over 20 years of experience in the property development industry, he brings deep expertise and strategic leadership to his role at Land & General Berhad.

He is a member of Mensa International, an organization that recognizes individuals with IQs in the top 2% globally, underscoring his strong analytical capabilities, strategic foresight, and problem-solving acumen.

Prior to joining Land & General, Mr. Edmond Heng held senior leadership roles in both International and local listed property development companies. His experience spans the full spectrum of property development, including large-scale townships, high valued residential properties, commercial, and integrated mixed-use developments both in Malaysia and Overseas.

With more than five years in C-suite and executive roles such as Overseas Region CEO and Executive Director of Properties & Business Development, Mr. Edmond Heng has led strategic growth initiatives and complex developments across regional and global platforms.

Benjamin Leong Wye Hoong

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr Benjamin Leong Wye Hoong, a Malaysian male aged 50, was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of L&G on 1 February 2022. He graduated with an (Honours) Degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis from University of Warwick, United Kingdom and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Mr Benjamin Leong Wye Hoong has over 20 years of work experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and business development in the oil and gas, marine, banking and financial services industry. He commenced his career as an auditor with Cohen & Arnold & Co, United Kingdom. Following that, he joined the Corporate Finance division of RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Bhd undertaking various corporate transactions including initial public offerings, M&A and fund raising exercises.

Prior to joining L&G, Mr Benjamin Leong Wye Hoong had held various positions within the Scomi group of companies including corporate finance, business development and finance. His last position was Acting Chief Financial Officer of Scomi Energy Services Bhd.

Chiah Hwa Kai

GENERAL MANAGER - SRI DAMANSARA SDN BHD

The General Manager of Sri Damansara Sdn Bhd a subsidiary of Land & General Berhad, Chiah Hwa Kai has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Civil Engineering degree from the University of Leeds (UK) and is a graduate member of BEM and IEM.

Chin Foo Teck

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

The Senior Project Manager of Land and General Berhad, Chin Foo Teck has a Masters in Business Administration from Leicester University (UK) & Diploma in Building from Tunku Abdul Rahman College KL. In his 30 years in the Construction Industry, he has spent 26 years in Contractor Organisation, gaining experience in pre and post contract administration as well as project administration and has spent the other 4 years in the development line, emphasising in high rise construction projects. He believes that:

“Quality and timeliness of construction and satisfaction of purchasers being first priority and deliver the project in time, and added value to the project in term of quality and functionality of the products. When there is a will nothing is impossible. Learning new things and ideas is a continuing process and to impact the ideas into reality”.

Dr Steven Baptist

Tan Siak Hun

The Principal of Sri Bestari International School, Ms Tan Siak Hun, has a Masters in Special Needs from the University of Nottingham and Bachelor in Business Studies from Queensland university. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) under the International Coaching Federation. She is a passionate educator who has more than 20 years’ experience in international, private and government school systems.

Having coached and upskilled more than 150 Malaysian and expatriate teaching staff, Ms Tan guides her team with 21st century teaching skills, providing strategic direction to the senior management and collaborating with ministry officials to enhance the standard and quality of the campuses.
