Incorporated in 1969 and located on a 26
acre site at Tampoi Industrial Estate, 30 kilometres away from Johor Port in Pasir Gudang,
at the southern tip of Peninsula Malaysia. The commercial production of Polyvinyl Chloride
(PVC) commenced in 1972. In 1975, the company expanded downstream to produce PVC
Compounds.
 Our operation is the
country's largest integrated PVC Resins and Compounds producer, with capabilities of
30,000 MTPA respectively, and a VCM storage facility of 8,600 MT in Pasir Gudang.
Our PVC Resins and Compounds (with 200 different formulations) are used for household,
commercial and industrial applications; for cables insulation, pipes & pipe fittings,
profiles for electronic packaging tubes, footwears, roofing, garden hoses, PVC leather
& flooring, etc.
 All our PVC Resins are sold to the
domestic market while about 10% of our PVC Compounds are exported to Singapore, Korea,
Philippines, China and United Kingdom.
In ensuring customers of our commitment to quality, a MS ISO 9002 Quality System was
implemented in mid 1995 with accreditation from SIRIM in May 1996.
 Currently, plans are
being implemented to increase our manufacturing facilities with the setting-up of a new
150,000 MTPA PVC Plant in Terengganu to be located at the eastern corridor of Peninsula
Malaysia. The new facility is expected to be on stream mid 1999.
